Rubber and Plastics Injection Molding Process Engineer
-Verify controlled material specifications on all incoming raw materials and approve release to production.
-Design prototype molds to simplify conversion to production.
-Insure quality and accuracy of prototype parts for engineered seals division. Prepared dimensional inspection reports for customers.
-Coordinate information between tool engineers and tool shop to design standard mold bases for all molding equipment.
-Use BasicMOST to develop operating standards for all molding processes at compression and injection facilities. Implemented standards to determine inefficiencies within processes, scheduling, and costing. Played instrumental role in the replacement out of outdated vertical injection presses. -Involved in ISO-9002 and QS-9000 certification.
